RENAULT has chosen OKTAL to make its first simulator designed to educate drivers for eco-driving. The simulator implementation lasted for 3 months, it was presented at the workshop organized by Environment RENAULT in Chatenay-en-France from June 18 to 27 where the brand explained its environment policy, especially through its trademark Eco ² ( Ecological and Economic).
Journalists from Europe were pleased to try the simulator (see article)
Thanks to the SCANeR™ CALLAS software, the eco-driving simulator makes driving rendering particularly realistic. Using the engine data supplied by Renault means that the values of consumption and pollution are extremely accurate, instantaneous and cumulative.
